Jan Hajek defeated Steve Darcis in the quarterfinal of Sopot Challenger, but he talks about many different things.
The question that was not recorded was my amazing question why all players said Hajek was so difficult to play against. He answered he didn't know why other guys didn't like his game, maybe because he's consistent on both wings and he didn't have one shot to be visibly worse than the others. He mentioned though he didn't like Darcis' habitual slicing and that the match made him very tired.
He also said he likes working now with Jan Subota, young Czech coach, who also was a player, but on futures level.
On the match:

On his breakthrough in 2006:
On winning Prostejov three times
On his chances in the tournament:

On why not as many Czech players as before are coming to Poland anymore

too bad the Czech line has nearly dried up. seems that today the most talented kids in the Czech Republic are not attracted to tennis.
