 | LIVE from Ostrava: Thursday | |
 | Ivan Dodig was first on center court playing against Adrian Menendez-Maceiras. The match didn't even start and there was a bit of drama as Menendez accidentaly hit a ballboy with his serve. He called "Sorry!" immediately, his coach jumped to the fence asking the boy if he's OK and Dodig even came to check it himself and give the boy a hug.

 | LIVE from Ostrava: Wednesday | |
 | Lukas Rosol made quick work of David Marrero. Marrero had no chance to get into the game as Rosol served perfectly, and also Marrero's mind was everywhere else but not on the court, the only thing we could see from his side was hitting the ball out of the court for which he received a warning. The result was 6/2, 6/3 but it could be as well 6/1 6/1 if Rosol stayed focused all the time.

 | I would like to inform you that maybe you will hear about some fire in the stands as I'm working with gasoline to wash the boards and the Spanish coach likes to smoke cigarettes right next to me and my bottle of gasoline, so stay tuned!

 | The drama came. Lukas Rosol vs. Teimuraz Gabashvili. Yes, Gabashvili, the Russian with Georgian name who speaks Spanish. He won the first set, but then it started to rain. That was the beginning of his end. He lost the second set (on the way he was shouting towards his coach things like: "No me ayudes nada!" - which left the coach completely indifferent as he just lit a cigarette in the stands, and referring to Rosol - "Él no me da nada, ni un doble!") and started to complain to the umpire about the rain.

 | LIVE from Ostrava: Q Sunday | |
 | The day started with a referees meeting. The topic of the day was – foot faults. The supervisor’s speech was of this kind: “I know it is very difficult to call a foot fault on the first serve. It is even more difficult to call it on the second serve. I know how bad the referee must feel when he calls a foot fault on the match-point. But a foot fault is a foot fault and it must be called!”
