 | At 4-4 after a couple of controversial calls in the last few games, a clear ace by Luncanu was called out. The Romanian got angry and wanted the supervisor to be called immediately. The umpire didn't want to, but he sat down on his chair waiting for the supervisor, kept on arguing with the umpire then confirmed he didn't want to continue the match and sat down on linesman chair.

 | We live far from the centre so the shopping mall is the heart of the life that pumps between the hotels and the tennis courts. Yesterday I visited there a hairdresser. The lady didn't speak more than a few English words, she sang along in Greek, but in the end she did a perfect job. Focused on looking sexy later at the venue I wanted to go out of the player's lounge on the balcony and I smashed myself on the big window taking it for exit. For my better mood - Lado Chikhladze did the same thing right after.

 | Enjoyed watching Del Bonis play, routine win against Yani, the American was not meant to be a serious threat, but still, happy to see the NeXT great claycourt giant live in action; amazing how Argentina regularly keeps on generating such talents; After that I was hurting my eyes by watching the Kazakh Schukin play the Indian DevVarman, serious painkillers were neede after this.

 | Irakli and his partner Lado Chikhladze had a cigarette before the match but it didn't affect their doubles performance which was actually a nice on with many impressive volleys from both guys. Let's mention it was a heavy weight battle because on the opposite side of Irakli there was Andorra's DC captain who doesn't look anorexic either.

 | Minar was the shocker of the day; Ebden was nowhere in the 1st set, then Minar got lazy in the 2nd, fought back to the tie breaker where he went ballistic; got broken immediately, fought back against with the support of the crowd(gamblers) missed some chance, Ebden got pumped up, started to hit the lines and reacted to the provocation of the fans saying ''Here you have it in your face''

 | Final report from Ramat Hasharon | |
 | That was loooong! 3 hours match in something like 40 degrees, really tough, and I guess the sun affected them both cause even though it was really tight, it wasn’t a high quality match.
Alves started more convincingly, aggressive from the beginning and I thought he would win as soon as he would stop hitting errors.
