Winner of Burnie Challenger, Danai Udomchoke, gives a post-match interview to the tournament website. Here is our transcript.
Q: Danai Udomchoke, you're the champion of Burnie International. It must feel pretty good.
Danai Udomchoke: Yeah, I feel very great. After a long time I didn't win a challenger, since like before the surgery, so this time I make the first final after the surgery and then I won it, so it's a very good feeling.
Q: I spoke to you last night after your semifinal. You said you were a little bit sore, a little bit fatigued. Did you feel good coming into the match?
Danai Udomchoke: I mean, I feel great because we played an evening match, so I had more time to recover and then yesterday I went to have a massage so my body is okay now. Not feeling tired anymore.
Q: You were incredibly consistent out there and you moved really well. Does that where you think you won the match?
Danai Udomchoke: Yes, yes. I mean yesterday I would also say that my strenght is movement so I have to move good and then try to hit the ball back all the time.
Q: Great start of the year. What are your goals in 2012?
Danai Udomchoke: Uhm, first my goal is try to be top 200 but now I made it, so now I try to be back to top 100 again.
Q: Well done, have you got any celebration tonight?
Danai Udomchoke: Maybe, because tomorrow we have to leave at like 5 AM, so I don't know yet. But a little bit, yes. With my wife.
