Ernests Gulbis hires Guillermo Canas as his new coach

ernests gulbis coachLatvian tennis player Ernests Gulbis hired a former pro Guillermo Canas from Argentina as his new coach. 33-year-old Canas replaced his compatriot Hernan Gumy who is now due to look up for his third child.

Gumy and Canas collaborated on the tour.

Gulbis, ranked 74th, is coming across as unmotivated and erratic; he has also been punished this year for not putting enough effort into finishing his match. Canas was known for being a fighter, and he came back on top from the depths of the ranking a few times - after the injuries, and after a dope ban which has been reversed due to further appeals.

Post retirement Canas started the coaching career instantly, and instantly it has become a hit worldwide as his charge Wayne Odesnik from USA has been caught on trafficking HGH to Australia. According to explanations of them both, Canas was not linked or aware of it.

Ernests Gulbis is linked to the women who tax for the lovemaking, so let's hope the cooperation of the gentlemen with the past will turn out successful.

I saw Gulbis and Canas on the practice court today at the Atlanta ATP. Is hard to read this guy Gublis, he has demonds to exorcise from his mind. I hope Willy can find a way to get it done. I get tired
of the monotony in the finals. Nadal, Nole, federer, Murry... Over and over. Grow up Gublis and do something about it. A fan.

BTW I noticed I have unwillingly been not precise. Odesnik was caught in January (during the Australian tennis season), then on 24th March I believe he announced he's working with Canas and then on 26th March he was pleaded guilty by the Australian court. Canas claimed he wasn't aware of any charges against Odesnik.

This is how it exactly went. I'm sorry if someone was confused.

Gulbis is going for the no-gluten diet now.

Watch out for him in 2011.
